Digital Records S.r.l. was founded in 2003, from the idea and the enthusiasm of a group of individuals who have been in the business for many years and who boast the professionalism that they’ve acquired throughout time in the field. The studio where they conduct their business has a history that goes back even further. In fact, founded in 1963 as Sonic Studio, the studio has to its name the makings of many prestigious and well-known works. Today, Digital Records is able to offer to artists and companies various services as well as global performance. Besides its high-level, avant-garde technology and professional expertise, the company is capable of organizing events, transfers to foreign countries, artistic and technical assistance for recording, mixing and delivery of the finished product. Digital Records has distinguished itself in these many years in the making of film soundtracks, boasting a long curriculum of successful works, where all phases were cared for: from play-back production, recording, synchronization of music to film, to the final mix of the soundtrack. All these services are offered here, thanks to tailor-made contracts, specifically personalized to suit your needs.
The artistic and productive cycle, which begins with a commission on behalf of the artist (composers or orchestra conductors), and/or the publisher (record companies, audio/video production houses), for us to then proceed in the operative phases:
Analysis of the nature of the work and event to be realized.
Determining an adequate orchestra formation for the recording of the music. In the event a domestic orchestra is necessary for the project, Digital Records will select those soloists most skilful and suitable for the type of performance in question. This is done through a careful selection process by convening and coordinating musicians in order to finalize the orchestra’s formation.
The same evaluation is carried out when choosing the most adequate recording room.
In all this accurate technical and artistic evaluation, the bureaucratic and administrative aspects are faced as well, since Digital Records also coordinates registration with the ENPALS union (Ente Nazionale per la Previdenza del Lavoro e dello Spettacolo) for each musician involved in the project.
The last phase concerns Digital Record’s involvement in the financial aspect of the entire crew.
If it is deemed necessary, for artistic purposes, to use foreign structures or orchestras, Digital Records will take care of all logistical aspects, such as flight reservations and staff accommodations, contacting various local companies with available means for recording. The equipment used for recording is supplied by the company, which will then transfer it to the premises, so as to guarantee the best possible product from a technical and qualitative standpoint.
